The prayer for healing

Who must remain in heaven until the time of universal restoration

That God announced long ago through his holy prophets. Acts 3:21

Read Acts 3:12—20
There’s been a healing. It has caused astonishment. It has drawn a crowd. If I were to pray for healing, and it were granted, I would be excited, too. I may gather friends around, too. I may gather a crowd. But this healing is not some freak occurrence. It is not an esoteric event, an outcrop thrown up by the world of magic. It is within the out-working of the whole eternal plan and purpose of God. It is fruit of that. It is part of the harvest among humanity, the healing of the nations, the outcome of all that God set in motion from the call of Abraham, the call that issued in the sending of the Holy and Righteous One, raising him from the dead and calling the nations to faith in his name.

Prayer
Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, all my weakness, all my need for healing I lay before you. You have planned throughout the ages to bring blessing to the nations through Jesus Christ, and in that to bring about our healing. May the healings that I pray for be part of your harvest. May I, too, see your healing hand, the sign that you are preparing times of refreshing in your very presence.
